Two browser-based 3D virtual worlds are now in public beta.  Both are ready for initial use.  CybaLOUNGE  has an initial educational project in the build stage.  3DWebWorldz is presently seeking museum content as part of its preparation for educational services.

3DWebWorldz

Import mesh into 3DWW

  • WHY WE SHOULD ALL SUPPORT GLTF 2.0 AS THE STANDARD ASSET EXCHANGE FORMAT FOR GAME ENGINES
  • Godot Engine
  • > Import Collada into Blender and don't even touch it 
  • > Export to GLTF2 using the Khronos plugin (https://github.com/KhronosGroup/glTF-Blender-Exporter). 
  • Save the result to a brand new folder with the name scene.gltf 
  • > zip up the contents of the new folder (not the folder, the contents only -- scene.gltf, .bin file, textures) 
  • > use the 3DWW upload mesh option -- choose the zip file from your folders, put >> scene.gltf << when asked for file name
