A plan for a field trip to CybaLOUNGE
Getting in is too easy.
It would also be quick if I didn't talk so much.

A nine minute demonstration of what it takes for a beginner to enter a web-world and start doing things.

Start in The VSTE sim on Second Life (www.secondlife.com) on June 8 at 8 PM ET, 5 PM SLT (PDT)

Summary

New technology allows the operation of virtual worlds in a browser like Chrome.  Such worlds can run in most equipment that runs a browser--with no installation.  Metaverse School has hosted college level courses in its CybaLOUNGE website for over a year and can support classes, campus, or district level education at K-12 through graduate level education  The field trip will demonstrate the basic level of instructional support.
