A2Z informal meeting on the web.  
A social feature of web-worlds
Web-worlds are the new social media.   So social you can talk to friends there. Here I present videos of a conversation I had with friends in a developing web-world,  We are talking about recent features being developed: An art gallery imported from a grid in OpenSim and a counselling office with personal private rooms for each client.

  • An informal conversation on the web.  That's one of the things web-worlds can offer.
  • We did not have to register, though some of us did. 
  • I am registered and have my picture showing on my avatar.
  •  A2Z Walkin website .
  • I am talking with Evie, the developer, and Bill Blight, a grid owner in OpenSim.
  • We discuss the new features recently added to this web-place. 
  • Meeting rooms are also offered with support from Apache for meetings

2018 COMEDY: WW: You, too, can do comedy. In the privacy of your own home. And in front of an audience

You, too, can do comedy.  
In the privacy of your own home.  
And in front of an audience
We do comedy in a virtual world (social VR) every Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 5 pm. Pacific time (USA--California). Everybody is welcome to attend--no cover charge. Everybody is welcome to perform.  We make videos of some performances and post them on YouTube.   Then we include some in articles on this blog. 
  • Watch on YouTube
  • We do comedy performances in virtual worlds. 
  • From home, over the internet. 
  • We watch that comedy the same way. 
  • We also capture videos so people can watch at their own convenience. 
  • The virtual worlds we use need a special viewer. 
  • Future: we will do comedy in web-worlds, with only a browser for a web-stage.

                2018 WW: PEOPLE: Cybalounge adds another social feature

                Cybalounge adds another social feature
                Cybalounge has a growing number of rooms (or worlds).  We can't see into those rooms, so we need a way to find out who is around when we come in.  Dieter, the Cybalounge developer, has added that information to the pushpin.

                • The new panel has a social tab showing who is online and where they are.  
                • Click the enter button to visit them in that place.

                  • Don't register -- enter as guest. 
                  • Click the pointed pushpin on the bottom line. 
                  • Scroll down to Demo Island and click enter.
                  • Move your avatar with the arrow keys: up= forward, right=turn.
                  • The pushpin will also tell you if anyone else is inworld and where they are.
