What is social 3D?
- Social activity in a virtual three-dimensional environment
- Different from games, simulations, and other focused uses of 3D
- Social activities are made of people interacting with people.
- But are otherwise limited only by what people want to do.
That's social. What is 3D?
- Much like the "real" world that we are accustomed to.
- It may look like our normal world.
- Or a world of fantasy, science fiction, history, or imagination.
- Actually, it will probably have places that match all these scenes.
- There are people (avatars) as you would expect in a world for people.
- The people are talking to each other.
- They are all doing what they please.
- They may be playing a game.
- They may be talking about their current project.
- They may be singing and dancing.
- They may be telling jokes.
- They may be building something.
- Some may be taking pictures or making videos.
- Some may just be looking around to see what is there.
