Bay city community celebrates 7th anniversery with parade, live music. May 17th, 12:30 p.m. SLT/PDT
Anniversary participants are asked to gather at noon SLT/PDT on Sunday, the 17th of May, to lineup for the parade at the bandshell in Bay City - Harwich. The parade will make its way down Route 66 beginning at 12:30 p.m. SLT/PDT, concluding at the Bay City Fairgrounds in the North Channel region.

BAY CITY, SL  - Bay City is entering it's 7th year as part of Second Life. To celebrate, Residents and friends of the popular mainland community will host their annual parade as well as a live music event.

 Anniversary participants are asked to gather at noon SLT/PDT on Sunday, the 17th of May, to lineup for the parade at the bandshell in Bay City - Harwich.

The parade will make its way down Route 66 beginning at 12:30 p.m. SLT/PDT, concluding at the Bay City Fairgrounds in the North Channel region.
A live concert will kick off at 1:30 p.m. SLT/PDT at the Bay City Fairgrounds. Event held at the Bay City Fairgrounds in North Channel, easily accessible by boat, car, walking , or teleport, and the end location of this year's parade. Come on down!

Performing will be GOSPEED RACER from 12:30-1:30 p.m. SLT, followed by Local kid CHRISTOV KOHNKE from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., OBLEE (Obeloinkment Wrigglesworth) from 2:30-3:30 p.m. SLT, and finally AMFORTE CLARITY from 3:30-4:30 p.m. SLT.

GOSPEED RACER (12:30-1:30 P.M. SLT)
"What is KONA Stream? It is my personal station I run from my home. I play mainstream pop and rock music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s along with soundtracks, novelty songs, mashups and light sprinkling of country. My current library has 13,000+ tracks in it"

CHRISTOV KOHNKE (1:30-2:30 P.M. SLT)
"Hi, I love to sing and play the guitar. I play pop music of all styles from all ages. I play in real life and find playing in SL a lot of fun. I love to play lead guitar too so don't be surprised if you hear me soloing over myself using a looping device that I use to record myself in the moment and then play over that. I pride myself in all of my playing be live and in the moment versus pre-recorded in any way."

OBLEE (Obeloinkment Wrigglesworth) (2:30-3:30 p.m. SLT)

AMFORTE CLARITY (3:30-4:30 p.m. SLT)

Event held at the Bay City Fairgrounds in North Channel, easily accessible by boat, car, walking , or teleport, and the end location of this year's parade. Come on down!
All Residents of the Second Life grid are welcomed to participate. Celebration goods are available at the Bay City Community Center, in the Daley Bay region, for those who wish to be a part of the parade, and ample viewing area is provided. 
The music event is open to all who desire to attend -- not only Residents of Bay City

 Bay City is a mainland community, developed by Linden Lab™ and home to the Bay City Alliance. The Bay City Alliance was founded in 2008 to promote the Bay City regions of Second Life™ and provide a venue for Bay City Residents and other interested parties to socialize and network. It is now the largest Bay city group, and home to most Residents of Bay City.
