MystyMellison wrote a play.  Mysty wants to get the play produced.  But even in Second Life, producing a play is not easy.  As the Avatar Repertory Theater people will tell you.

Mysty tried to organize a cast.  But so far, that has not worked out.

At this point, Mysty could have listened to that famous line:

Estragon:  Nothing to be done

That's the opening of "Waiting for Godot."  As if you didn't know.

Mysty took a different line.  Organizing a cast means getting everybody to together at once.  That's hard anywhere.  What you can do in Second Life is find good voice actors who will read lines for you.  That is a valuable resource and Mysty figured out how to work with it:

Set against the backdrop of the French Revolution, The Fire is a drama reading about Pete, a passionate peasant verses a greedy government. He  struggles to earn bread during a Paris famine.

Join us on our journey as our magical storyteller, Pan, takes us through time to the year 1789

Story based on Simon Schama's Citizens. The poem is sung by Jilly Kidd. The Irish ballad is Robert Dwyer Joyce's "The Wind That Shakes The Barley."
