• A brainstorming or information gathering step
•  Mind-mapping to organize the information in a meaningful way.
• Non-linear story-telling

A brainstorming or information gathering step

• The ideas or information bits go on text cubes.  
• In group projects, each person might give the text to a facilitator.
• Or each person might have their own set of cubes
• "The way to find a good idea is to have lots of ideas to choose from." 

 Mind-mapping to organize the information in a meaningful way.

• Cubes can be moved and placed as desired.
• Cubes can be replicated and used in more than one place.
• Cubes can be collected into units and the units can be moved. 
• Alternative configurations can be tested to find the best for the current objective.
• The same content can be rearranged for a new objective.

Non-linear storytelling

• The whole story is on display.  
• The audience and the presenter can use any part in discussion.
