Promoting Events in SL: Blogs
Blogs are good for promoting events in Second Life. That is my opinion, anyway. If you follow this blog, you will see that it announces and promotes selected events in Second Life. The selection is based on goals explained here:

- Has everything I will want to use in a single notecard or e-mail item
- Has a distinctive brand name in the title
- Comes to me at least a week before the event
