Novale of CreaNovale Grid (OpenSim)
Video showcasing new cross-country ski touring at Novale of CreaNovale Grid (OpenSim), winter We want a region that is appealing to contemplative explorers, photographers, curious minds, and playful discoverers. To this end, we pay a lot of attention to ambient sounds and to building first the big picture on how the many scenes and diverse habitats are integrated in a coherent and organic way and then by adding details and humor.

Put the hg address in Find bar of World Map, click Find, TP
The tour in the video starts at the touring station near the landing in SW corner of Novale. and goes east up to the old greenhouse, turns north toward the farm, goes between the two barns, then on the little wood bridge then to the chapel.
- The video illustrates the value of making a video by following a tour-scripted object.

Welcome to CreaNovale,
the private grid of Dabici Straulino and Kelso Uxlay.
- Private grid: Hosted on a grid host or a home computer.
- Private grids can be connected to the hypergrid, so that the owners can have lots of visitors without handling registrations
- At the touring station, you can get your skis and select a tour.
- You need not know the way. Let your skis take you.
Novale is a large VAR region (768x768 m), an area equivalent to 9 SIMs. To ease your visit, we have installed a teleport center in facilities (conservatory, santa's retreat, skating shack and igloo) at each corners of our Region (SW, NW, NE, SE
- Var region: a feature of OpenSim that allows a single simulator to generate and manage a large land area.
A ski lift, of course

You don't even need to buy tickets

You also can ride the snow saucer
We want a region that is appealing to contemplative explorers, photographers, curious minds, and playful discoverers. To this end, we pay a lot of attention to ambient sounds and in building first the big picture on how the many scenes and diverse habitats are integrated in a coherent and organic way and then by adding details and humor. Most of the key buildings and habitats are common to all seasons, they can become 'places' rather than simply spaces that visitors recognize and learn to appreciate in different seasonal context. It is bringing time, the 4th dimension in 3D.
The balloon gives you a great overhead view
Automated tours offer a lot of advantages. They guide the visitors' experience who can enjoy the visit without having to control their movement, they can better look, listen, enjoy and take photos if they wish.
Four seasons
WINTER AT NOVALE - current state
Winter is the first season we built in 2015. It was a pleasure to rez it back in late November and to keep on with its development by adding more interactivity and activity to the build. The Sleigh Ride with Santa, the cross-country tours and the soon to be launched downhill ski are part of the novelties.-
We will close access for about a month in February 2017 to build Spring. We save the seasons as an OAR.-
This region is also a playing-learning journey for us, we learn as we go and develop in a playful manner skills that will be useful for our future projects. We have kept the essentials of the first winter season, including the xmas market, the skating lake and dancing on ice stage, the toboggan, and the snow saucer rides. --Dabici Straulino and Kelso Uxlay
