Cybalounge build tutorial:  Instructions for embedding a video tutorial in a web-world.

  • The popup offers the same controls offered on the YouTube page
  • You can also have the video open in another web tab.
  • You can have the video show on the HTML screen, but with less viewer control.

Why put a video in a web-world?

  • You have a video that tells your story. 
  • People can watch it if nobody else is there. 
  • People can watch it if you you or your agent is there. 
  • Your agent can talk to people about it, answer questions and give more info about it. 
  • - 
  • You may have a video made to help couples, families, or others solve problems. 
  • Couples, families, or others can watch the video together in your web-world. 
  • You may be able to have a counselor or facilitator there to help. 
  • Your web-world can be as secure as any other web page. 
  • - 
  • You are holding a class in a web-world. 
  • You present a video for the class to discuss. 
  • - 
  • You are marketing products or services. 
  • Your agent can show videos as part of the sales presentation.

  • Load the video file, make Shotcut full screen
  • Mark clips and save in Playlist

When you register in Cybalounge, you get a free location (world) to start building in.   You will want to name it and set some controls on the way it operates.   Here is how.

What you can do

  • Give a name  and description for your world
  • Change the landing point for entry.
  • Be sure  to save
  • Further down on the panel:
  • Allow construction
  • Set the number of avatars
  • Set mail notifications
  • Appoint administrators
  • Appoint members
  • Ban users/IP's
  • Announce events
  • Other items may be added

      Put the web into your web-world
      Instructions for displaying a web page in a web-world, then setting event that presents it in a tablet or in another web tab.  The page or tablet can be scrolled or (if settings allow) edited.

      • A web-world is a three dimensional virtual world you visit on your browser.
      • Cybalounge provides tools for equipping a web-world with customized content.
      • With these tools, you can build without learning Javascript, HTML5, and WebGL.
      • Visit a web-world: Cybalounge  Enter as guest, no registration, no password.
      • I will probably be there any weekday at 10-10:30 am California time.

        2017 WW: PEOPLE: More times when I may be in the nonprofit web world

        More times when I may be in the nonprofit web world
        I describe a plan that lets me be in a web-world to chat with visitors several times a week.  I am starting to test it to see if it works for me.
        Web-world for nonprofits 
        and public service organizations

        • Voice works here, at least if you are using the Chrome browser. 
        • Click the Mic (bottom line) to turn on voice.  
        • You can hear even if you do not speak.
        • Firefox and Edge may not work with voice until they are updated.  
        • Click here to visit my web world 
        • Enter as guest -- just pick your avatar and a nickname.  No registration.
        • I expect to be in that world weekdays, 10 to 10:30 am California time.
        • 3D web-worlds of the browser (G+ community)

        Other times I may be in the web-world

        • Sundays 1 to 2 pm  (All times are California time zone)
        • Mondays 6 to 7 pm  
        • Thursdays 12 to 1 pm
        • Thursdays 5 to 6 pm 
        • Fridays 12 to 1 pm, 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
