"WELCOME TO "CONTEMPORARY GLASS ART"
-
"There are 2 basic types of glass art:  sculptured glass and blown (or "kiln-formed") glass.
This exhibit focuses mostly on the latter.  This "duo exhibit" displays virtual glass sculptures by SL artist Eliza Quinzet and also photographs of RL glassworks."

"The majority of Art Deco-influenced architecture took place in cities outside of Paris:  Miami, Florida;  Mumbai, India;  Havana, Cuba;  Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  In the U.S., opulent interiors were created in numerous cities for movie theaters, nightclubs, hotels, restaurants, ocean liners, banks, lobbies, and elevator doors.  Different regional variants within the U.S. used different cultural elements.  For example, Mayan and Aztec influences were to be found in southern California, and tropical influences - with its pastel shades of flamingo pink, sea green and banana yellow - were used in Florida."
