Web-worldz adds choose-a-face feature.  Menu instructions on this and other new features.
Walk into a web-world

Your avatar represents you
  • You can change your face any time.
  • More faces can be available if needed.
  • Your own face could be included after a few tech matters are solved.
You occasionally need this menu
  • But most of the time you will leave it collapsed (bottom button).
You need these instructions to start
  • To find out what the keys do, just try them.  
  • If the world is embedded in another web page, you need to use the wasd keys.
  • The arrow keys may not work right with an embedded world.
Some options on the web-world page
  • In some worlds you can talk in voice.  Look for the microphone graphic.
  • In all worlds, you can chat in text.  See How to chat on the long menu.  
The new kind of web page
  • A2Z markets it's services.
Signs and other things in walking distance
  • A 3D world can have lots of information nearby
  • As we know very well from the world we live in.
I can get closer to read the signs
  • And we know from experience that it works.
  • We just need to know how:
  • Click the screen, move the cursor to look at where we want to go, then press the up arrow. 
The elevators take you to other places
  • Each floor is really a different web-world.
Signs can do things on click
  • It can do everything a web page can do

The Hypergrid WIP Show

  • The Hypergrid WIP is a one hour "show & tell" of works in progress. 
  • Everyone is invited.  Building, scripting, entertainment-- whatever you are working on.
  • Selby may capture video of presentations in voice, for posting on YouTube.
  • The WIP show normally meets on 2 Sundays a month at 12 pm California time.
  • The show meets at the Pandora location on the second Sunday 
  • But will not meet in the summer.
  • And at Cookie II on the fourth Sunday.  
  • To keep up with the WIP meetings, join the Kitely group, Work in progress.
  • We can go to your place if there is time.
