2018 PEOPLE: Social VR: The Next Big Thing that virtual worlders have enjoyed for years

Social VR:  The Next Big Thing
that virtual worlders have enjoyed for years

Social VR.  Virtual reality used for social interaction.  A computer generated virtual world that people get together in.  They have avatars that give them a sense of presence and a sense of identity.  They talk with each other just as if they were in the same place.  They can walk around and talk about the virtual things they are looking at.  They can listen to music and have their avatars dance together.  They can watch movies together and talk about them.  They can attend classes, visit museums, or do all sorts of sexually weird things.   When will this technology come?  More than 10 years ago.
