Anaphora Short Poetry Workshop-Tue 5/9,7pm SLT

This week Short Poetry Workshop presents the Anaphora, which is the opposite of the Epistrophe workshop we did last week. The Anaphora is a poetry term for the deliberate repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of each line of a poem to create a rhythm. So come down to Short Poetry Library to learn, write and share the Anaphora. . East Cookie, Cookie (183, 120, 21)

    The cutting edge

    • Maybe a bit ragged.
    • It is a very simple virtual world, and it is just partly done.
    • But you just click the link.  No registration, no password.
    • Just pick an avatar, type the name you want to use, and click the enter button.
    • Walk forward with the up arrow key.  Turn with a side-pointing arrow key.
    • Click on the blue ball in a chair to sit there.
    • Click the "End animation" button (upper right) to stand.
    • When you are sitting, press a side-pointing arrow key to look around.
    • Click the mic button (bottom of screen) to go into talk mode.
    • Voice works in Chrome, but may not in Firefox or Edge, until they fix a bug.
    • Type (bottom left) for text messages.
    • You can paste in web links.
    • They will show in a different color and will open a web page on click.
    • Unless you bring someone with you, there won't be much to do yet.
    • I am there almost every day at 10-10:30 California time.
    • So drop by my little web-world and let's talk.
    • For information about what is happening there,
    • go to 3D web-worlds of the browser
