Objectives
- Show new people how a 3D place can be social
- Show how 3D places can be populated with informative bots.
- For children, a bot might be an animal. For geeks it might be a robot.
Draft plan
Design
- Keyword driven
- Activated by proximity: LSL volume detect
- Sourced by FAQ database
- FAQ database is a set of pages with each page answering a question.
- Bot offers welcome speech and notecard.
- Bot offers to answer questions ("Click me and type your question.")
- Bot looks for keyword in user text input..
- If a keyword is found, bot delivers associated FAQ page(s)
- If a keyword is not found, bot says "Sorry, all I know about is this:"
- Bot delivers a list of key worlds and stores the question for human review.
- Unanswered questions may suggest possible changes in the FAQ.
