I am running Firestorm 4.7.7 (48706) Mar 5 2016 00:13:45 (Firestorm-Releasex64) with OpenSimulator support. Operating system: Windows 10. I do not find a slowing problem even when I am working around a lot of media posters. I do see a modest accumulation of llcceflib_host processes after I close the viewer, though not enough to cause slowing.
-
2. Turn off "Allow media to autoplay" and "Allow inworld scripts to play media." These are in Preferences, Sound & Media, Media tab.
-
I found that the settings in suggested in 2. reduced, but did not eliminate, the accumulation of llcceflib_host processes. Since I cannot replicate the slowing problem on my machine, that is the best I can do to test the suggestion.

Does your computer slow down after a time in a virtual world? Maybe it is not an overheated graphics board. The is a bug in many viewers that can leave a lot of processes running on your computer. Enough can slow your computer. Here are 2 suggestions for a fix.

Problem discussion
The function of llcceflib_host is to assist with web sourced content. It would be called for media on a prim (MOAP) or web-sourced profiles. The comments on the bug report suggest it may be called for other (unexplained) reasons. The comments also indicate that the problem occurs for some people and not for others and that it is not specific to an operating systesI am running Firestorm 4.7.7 (48706) Mar 5 2016 00:13:45 (Firestorm-Releasex64) with OpenSimulator support. Operating system: Windows 10. I do not find a slowing problem even when I am working around a lot of media posters. I do see a modest accumulation of llcceflib_host processes after I close the viewer, though not enough to cause slowing.
Suggestions for problem management
1. Restart Windows 10 at least once a day. Persistent processes will accumulate If you just put the system in sleep mode. This suggestion is good advice whether you are having this particular problem or not.-
2. Turn off "Allow media to autoplay" and "Allow inworld scripts to play media." These are in Preferences, Sound & Media, Media tab.

I found that the settings in suggested in 2. reduced, but did not eliminate, the accumulation of llcceflib_host processes. Since I cannot replicate the slowing problem on my machine, that is the best I can do to test the suggestion.
