Inventory, ingrid and hypergrid.  Firestorm
How to manage your inventory and inventory window on your home grid and on hypergrid trips.

    • Q: What happened to the Friday event notices you were carrying twice a month?

          Open your inventory

          • Press Ctrl i
          • Or press the inventory button (looks like suitcase) on you viewer screen.

          Top clicks for beginners

          • ? Question mark:  click for help on this page (applies to any page showing it)
          • Filter: Use to narrow your search for items

          Bottom clicks for beginners

          • Gear: menu of things you can do.  (See details in the Wiki.)
          • Check this menu when you want to do something and don't know how.
          • + plus sign: Create new item, submenu offers type selection.
          • Suitcase icon: Opens a new inventory window.

          Manage inventory: uses you need at the start

          • When someone or something gives you something, it will go in your inventory..
          • It will go into the folder that matches its type
          • Your inventory has a tab row: Inventory   Recent    Worn
          • If somebody just gave you something, click Recent to find it easily.  
          • To read a notecard, double-click on the name in inventory.
          • To use landmark (go there), double-click on the landmark in inventory.
          • To wear something, right click on the name and click on wear in the next menu.
          • To bring an object from inventory into the world near you, 
          • drag the inventory item onto the ground where you have rez permission.
          • As a newcomer, you would only have rez permission in a sandbox. 

          Special aspects for hypergrid

          • Your suitcase. Just what you need to travel the hypergrid.
          • Anything you get while on a hypergrid trip will go into your suitcase.
          • Best move such things to your main inventory if you want to use them later.
          • You can take landmarks on the hypergrid.  They will work from your home grid.
          • If you get a notecard with embedded things, recover the embeds immediately.
          • The embeds may not be available on other grids.
          • Clean your suitcase frequently.  Full suitcase = slow HG travel.

            The Hypergrid WIP Show
