2016 PEOPLE: PLACES: HG Safari, week 119 Nara Nook, the writers colony on the hypergrid

HG Safari, week 119 Nara Nook
the writers colony on the hypergrid.

HG Safari gathers weekly to visit virtual places on the hypergrid.   This week, we visited the writers colony on Nara Nook.    A place where writers get together to talk about writing, the Future of Fiction, and to work on the development of immersive fiction.

We gathered at Nara Nook

  • Most of the people came as characters from books.
  • So look closely at the pictures and see who you can recognize.
  • I came as Thinkerer Melville, a character appearing in many pictures in my blog.

    • Where can a rabbit hole lead?
    A famous tea-party
    • Yeah, that's the mad hatter
    • Trivia question: Why was it fitting to speak of a mad hatter?
    • The Hatter
    Curiouser and curiouser
    • (she was so much surprised, that for the moment she quite forgot how to speak good English)
    This tea party is impossible!
    • But I completely believe it,
    • Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
