Avatar Repertory Theater comes to OSCC 2015

Avatar Repertory Theater is the longest surviving live theater performance group in virtual worlds, since 2008. We have 200 performances under our virtual belts, ranging from full immersive stagings, such as Shakespeare's "The Tempest", Sophocles "Oedipus Rex" and "Alice in Wonderland", to small workshops and original plays. Our small, tightly-knit troupe consists of professional and community theater performers, programmers, sound engineers, avatar and theater designers, and playwrights. A few of us will talk about what we do and present a theatrical adaptation demonstrating some of the technical considerations of producing this ancient art in a fascinating new media.

The Hypergrid WIP is a one hour "show & tell" of works in progress or recently completed. All builders from beginner to pro are invited. Presentations are in voice and text.
