Tacoma Little Theater is partnering with Seanchai Library, an organization specializing in spoken word presentations of literature in immersive virtual environments, to create a computer simulation based on The Great Gatsby. This simulation will be accessible to the general public via the internet, and will feature interactive links to resource materials on the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald and the influences reflected in the featured work. It will also spotlight Tacoma Little Theater  itself, showcasing its 97 year history of building community through creating theater.
EXPLORE Gatsby, is a three dimensional guide to information meant to add to the experience of attending and enjoying the play. Created in the virtual platform known as Kitely, EXPLORE will feature an interactive environment based on the novel, and will offer live presentations of the source literature that Tacoma Little Theater patrons, and fans of the novel from all over the world can enjoy through their home computers.

Puente Short Poetry Workshop 1/20, 7pm SLT

This week the Short Poetry Workshop introduces a new form called the Puente, which means “bridge” in Spanish. The Puente is a 3 stanza poem with the middle stanza having only one line which acts as a bridge (puente) between the first and third stanza. How to handle a Hypergrid address 

From any Hypergrid-enabled grid, paste the address into the address bar of Firestorm and press enter. Or paste it into the world map search bar of any viewer, search, and click Teleport when the destination is found. If it doesn't work, don't give up. Try again in couple of minutes.  Sometimes the first try fails (probably times out).  And try again a few hours later. Some hypergrid destinations are offline part of the day.
