Ballet Pixelle®  holiday program "The Nut" opening December 2, 2012.Performances are Wednesdays at 2:00 pm and Sundays at 5:00 pm SLT throughout December and part of January in the Ballet Pixelle Theatre.http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Quat/42/24/107-Ballet Pixelle® performs its version of the Nutcracker ("The Nut") for the sixth year this holiday season. "The Nut" is Ballet Pixelle's essence of The Nutcracker so you can see just the wonderful, and truly original, dances.

Ballet Pixelle® produces professional works that creatively utilize the Second Life and First Life environments; we produce classical, neo-classical, contemporary, and eclectic ballets for and with the residents of Second Life.-Our dancers perform original animations created especially for each ballet.  Ballet Pixelle cast members live all around the world and in performance dance to the music as he or she hears it, coordinating their movement with other dancers on our stage. The musical scores are original works written for these new ballets.-

There are currently over 1900 members in Ballet Pixelle, which is our audience group.  To join, search for the group "Ballet Pixelle".  Among other things, you will receive special invitations to performances and previews.  Performances are free and open to all.  You can also join our subscription group by clicking on the board in the theatre.
