Novia Halostar

Novia Halostar (known as Diane Marie in RL) has been an artist for nearly all of her RL. She began drawing things she saw in magazine pictures soon after she learned to walk, and then began painting in watercolor, abandoning oils for watercolors at the age of 13.    Later, she discovered acrylics, and stopped using oils for a number of years due to the non earth friendly chemicals.  In recent years, when water soluable oils became available, she returned to painting with oils with a new passion.-In later years, she began to work in assemblage and sculpture, using discarded materials and used construction waste wood for paintings.   She developed such a passion for  the challange of making use of odd and unwanted discarded materials that friends began to bring her strange objects, which they would present to her, saying "what can you do with THIS????"
