Crash on image download, a fix

Symptoms: 

• SL stops responding when you download or upload a picture.
• Problem started after you installed a recent version of Microsoft Essentials
• I had the problem

Yeah.  Another Microsoft feature.
And the Phoenix-Firestorm team is on it: SkyDrive

The simple solution is to remove Skydrive.

If you are using Skydrive:

• Be sure to download everything that you have on Skydrive
• Replace any important services you were getting from Skydrive  

I replaced Skydrive with Google Drive.   Actually, I had already done that because Google Drive is easier to use than Skydrive.  So removing Skydrive was no loss.  And the fix worked.

When you are ready to remove Skydrive,

• Go to Programs and Features in the control panel
• Double click on the SkyDrive icon or right click and select Uninstall

This problem is said (by Linden Lab) to have been fixed in the Second Life standard version V3.4.5, released on February 13, 2013.  Other viewers might take a month or so to catch up.
