2016 EVENTS: HG: P2P: Sometimes you have to cancel an event. Sometimes you don't. HGProjects

Sometimes you have to cancel an event.  
Sometimes you don't. HGProjects
Hypergrid has resources.  One G+ group is specifically for and about performers doing Opensim events. There are others that are probably read by performers doing Opensim events.  If you are on the Hypergrid, performers can come to you with no extra login.  Maybe you can find a substitute act.

Genre-Star Wars Short Poetry Workshop-Tue 1/5, 7pm, SLT 

This week at the Short Poetry Workshop Arabella Nemeth is guest host for Genre poetry - write poetry like a Star Wars Character. In this workshop we will write poems in the “voice” of a Star Wars Character. Pick your favorite: Yoda, Jar Jar Binks, Chewbacca, Hans Solo. Join us to learn, write and share.

        • Join Opensim AAM Virtual Performers (G+)
        • Performers can announce availability, performance style, and links to web pages.
        • Event managers can announce open gigs.
        • Everyone can announce upcoming events.
        • Also for upcoming gigs: Entertainment on the Hypergrid (G+)
        • And  HYPERGRID EVENTS (G+)
        • And  HYPEvents
        • And Opensimworld/events
        • If you are looking for a replacement performer at the last minute.
        • The HG performer pool may not be big enough to provide one.
        • Not yet.  But it is growing.  The more people use it, the more it will grow.

        Performers:  Got empty gig slots?  

        • You may fill some if you post a promo about you and your work.
        • Sure, post on Facebook.  
        • But remember to copy/paste to Opensim AAM Virtual Performers (G+)
        • You may find that G+ works better for business.

All builders from beginner to pro are invited.  Presentations are in voice and text.  For text presentations, best bring the text in a notecard and paste it into chat.  Voice presentations may be captured in video.  Stills and videos from the show may appear in this blog.
