A young aspiring singer's life is interrupted by the terrible events in New York on 9/11 and he enlists in the Marines to serve his country.

Two remarkable submissions in for MachinimUWA VIII: Pursue Impossible. Jackson Redstar's 'Reach' tells the tale of a young singer who is inspired to put his life on the line for his country and how he never gives up on his dreams when things go wrong, and Sarah Whitney's 'Pursue Impossible' tells the tale of the Wright brothers, who in pursuing the impossible, changed the face of humanity forever.   
I recommend 'Pursue Impossible' for viewing also. I would have embedded it in a post, but it is on Vimeo.  I have embedded Vimeo films before, only to find later that Vimeo had removed the film, thus rendering the embed useless.  So I don't embed Vimeo films any more.
