2016 BIZ: HELP: PEOPLE: Kitely new welcome center.

Kitely new welcome center
KItely just opened its new (much improved) Welcome Center.  Another element in the HGProjects. Inworld helper board (shows and contacts online helpers).  Community calendar and group joiner.  Kitely Market displays, places to see, meeting areas.  Locations clearly indicated from the arrival point.

  • The big panel shows people available to help newcomers.
  • Pick someone online, click the picture to start an IM with that person.
  • Click the box on the side to get a starter pack.
  • The starter pack has a notecard with useful landmarks

  • Community meetings are held on Sundays at 1 pm California time.
  • Probably in the nearby meeting area.
  • Check the Events Calendar for what is happening in Kitely
  • If you have events to announce, you can put them in the calendar
  • Join the Kitely Community Group.
  • That's the sign at the bottom left.
  • After you join, you can introduce yourself in group chat.
  • Or ask questions there.
  • If you are in the Community Group, you can set home to the Welcome Center
  • No wait to load the region at the Welcome Center.

    The Hypergrid WIP Show

    The Hypergrid WIP is a one hour "show & tell" of works in progress or recently completed. All builders from beginner to pro are invited.  Presentations are in voice and text.  For text presentations, best bring the text in a notecard and paste it into chat.  Voice presentations may be captured in video.  Stills and videos from the show may appear in this blog and elsewhere.
