Why learning is moving online:
More support for JIT (Just In Time) learning.
Learn it when you need to use it.
The hardest part of supporting JIT learning is maintaining an index. Here's how to automate that.
- Just-In-Time (JIT) learning in virtual schools, maybe with DTA coaching. Language as an example
- JIT learning takes learners to needed instruction just when they need it.
- The simplest way to do that is to provide a digital index that learners can select from.
- The ideal index would cover all instructional materials.
- Indexing documents is well supported.
- But not videos.
Indexing documents
Indexing everything
- Omnisearch
- Omnisearch blog
- Let students search all relevant content--including audio and video files--to find just what they need.
