If it is 3D you want to move.  Different 3D systems have slight differences the controls for moving.  Here are the controls for 3DWebWorldzAnd a video demonstration of how virtual worlds can be social worlds if you meet somebody there.

Move with the keyboard arrow keys

  • Move forward, back and sideways.
  • Fly up or down.  
  • If you have a keyboard, you probably ignore the Navigation Hud
  • You can hide the Navigation Hud with a click on the red X (center)
  • Arrow keys are on the right, so these keys are convenient for left-handers.

  • Right-handers may prefer this key set.  
  • If you are using a world embedded in a web page, use these keys to move.
  • The arrow keys may not work as expected.
