2016 WRITE: BLOG: PROMO: Give your blog article a search description, teaser, or other short promotion

Give your blog article  a search description, 
teaser, or other short promo
You can put a promo on your blog article.  Some blog hosts will ask for it as a search description (Blogger) that will show up in search.  Others may not, but you can still put the promo as the first paragraph of your article. (I do both.)  Aim the promo at people who were interested by the title and are wondering whether they want to read more.

  • Tell them why they want to read more: 
  • Mention valuable content, present important questions the article will answer, pique the curiosity the article will satisfy.  
  • And use the most important keywords for the article.  
  • That blurb may get picked up elsewhere.  
  • And wherever it goes, it will spread those keywords.  
  • You can use it along with the links you use to promote the article.
