Janine Portal: A Year in Pixels
-
Janine started exhibiting her original works of art in Second Life just over a year ago. For this exhibit, Janine has brought back some of her favorite works, as well as some new pieces that are truly amazing and inspiring.
-
Orion originally discovered Janine’s talent when he bought one of Janine’s pieces as a birthday gift for Lisa. Orion and Lisa have since added several more of Janine’s works to their personal collection.
-
Janine is one of the first three featured Artists in the Easy Rock Artist-in-Residence program founded by Orion and Lisa Deezul. Orion and Lisa enjoy collaborating with creative individuals. They founded the Artist-in-Residence program to help artists gain more attention for their work in Second Life.
-
The Easy Rock Artist-in-Residence program invites original artists in Second Life to apply for gallery space in Easy Rock. Once selected, artists are provided with their own gallery space (free of charge) that they can use and design as they wish to exhibit their work. The artists may also offer their work for sale and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the artist.
-
To apply for the Easy Rock Artist-in Residence Program contact Orion Deezul or Lisa Deezul in Second Life or send an email to EasyRockMusic@gmail.com
-
“We really just have a love of art and there are so many wonderful artists in Second Life. We wanted to be able to provide a platform for these great artists to be able to showcase their work and be seen by as many people as possible.”, says Easy Rock owner, Orion Deezul.
