A display space for open-licensed (CC-BY) historical mesh items, chiefly tombs, drawn from the neolithic period and also from Etruria and provided by third parties as (photogrammetry-based) 3D scans on Sketchfab.
- Content providers are acknowledged in situ apart from the undermentioned.
- The calibrated Tree of Life is based on a paper by Battistuzzi et al. (2004), i.e. quite old but still interesting for what it tries to achieve.
- The Archaea/Eukarya branch is not calibrated and primarily included to illustrate one current hypothesis for the origin of the eukaryotes. This makes use of archaea that had developed some eukaryotic features, the Lokiarchaeota, as hosts for an endosymbiotic bacterium that evolves into the contemporary mitochondrion.
- The table of eons and eras and associated evolutionary events are taken from Wikipedia:
Data for the cholera-related burials at the Liverpool Necropolis on Low Hill are taken from the
OnLine Parish Clerk Project
The most interesting observation appears to be that Liverpool suffered three outbreaks of cholera in successive years whereas most cities reportedly had one or two at most.
- The Liverpool Necropolis was designed by John Foster Jnr who, with his father, played a major role in determining the visual look of an increasingly prosperous city, notably by referencing the glories of ancient Greece. The building no longer exists and the cemetery is now a public park.

Most of the statuary derives from public domain scans made in part as a consequence of Liverpool Biennial 2016 by http://threedscans.com/ . The ubiquitous displayboard is CC-BY Nebadon Izumi and lightly modified by yours truly.

Many builds shown in the Kitely History Month event are intended to stay much longer and serve more general educational purposes. So if you see this later than August, 2016, don't assume you have missed them. Check to see if they are still there.
