2013 PROMO: With your event calendar

Promote with your event calendar

  • If you manage events, you have a calendar
  • You can use your calendar to promote the events
Here are some suggestions for working with bloggers to promote your events
-
Use a Google calendar. 
Put a location link in the Description section.  
  • Google Maps will usually make a SLurl a hyperlink
  • But in any case, the reader can copy-paste it into second life
Be sure to set your Google calendar public

Give the calendar a name that will identify it as you want
-
Plan your entries so they will work well when mixed with other events 
  • Start each entry with a standard acronym that will identify your events
  • Mention your place or group name in the description 
  • Promotion: Google calendars 
Make a calendar poster (yours or combined)  
Get into combined calendars for wider audience
