Twice a month I gather and post information and links about upcoming opportunities and events in SL or HG. Just the ones that I think will interest my readers.  I update the post if I get new information.  If your event is not listed, mention it in the comments section of this blog.

                Maritime Club has shows every Sunday starting at 2 pm PST






              • To get to the Maritime Club go to OSGrid first.

                • Aine's Hedononism:

                When: every Sunday at 5pm grid time (8pm EST)

                Where: HGTP to refugegrid.com:8002 then local portal to Hedonism dance club
                (with a request that people *not* directly HGTP into the region out of respect for those already there)

                Music: each week I feature a different era or style of music from my very large music collection, also taking any requests from guests that are in line with the week's theme

                The Hypergrid WIP Show

                The Hypergrid WIP is a one hour "show & tell" of works in progress or recently completed. All builders from beginner to pro are invited.  Presentations are in voice and text.  For text presentations, best bring the text in a notecard and paste it into chat.  Voice presentations may be captured in video.  Stills and videos from the show may appear in this blog and elsewhere.

                          How this works

                          This article will post on the Friday before the first and 15th of the month.  I will try to include an item about any event or offer I know about the day before posting.  To be included any notice must include the location, unambiguous date, and the reason(s) why people would want to attend.  If I don't think my readers will be interested, I will not post.

                          Location: For SL, give the SLurl.  For Hypergrid, give the HG address in standard form:
                          • <hg-address>:<hg-port>:[<region-name>]
                          If you put the prefix http:// on it, I will remove it.  That prefix indicates a web link and causes the browser to show the expression as a clickable link, thus confusing people not already familiar with the oddities of virtual worlds.  Firestorm does not use the http:// for map search and may not know how to interpret it.

                          Date:  Include the date in California time.  Add any other times you wish but be clear about the locations and time zones.

                          Reasons: Think beyond your local community if you want to attract outsiders.  Think beyond words (especially beyond overused marketing expressions.)  Think of pictures, GIFs, and videos.  If you post a 5 minute video on YouTube well in advance of an interesting event, I may embed it in an article.
