2014 EDU: STECH: Are you in a Second Life Community? The educational community wants you.

Are you in a Second Life Community?
The educational community wants you.

ewan.bonham and beth.ghostraven have a request:
"As members of VSTE, we are in the process of developing a resource directory of SL ethnic, cultural, and historical communities for use by educators and students for research and learning. "
-
VSTEVirginia Society for Technology in Education
VSTE is an affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education. (ISTE)
-
"We recognize at this time that such a directory does not exist, but know from anecdotal observations there is a plethora of opportunities if we can classify/categorize these communities and make them available in an easy-to-use resource.
-
"If you belong to a community which prides itself on cohesiveness in
  • culture,
  • traditions,
  • rituals,
  • values
"which are embodied within the collective identity, we would like to hear from you. At the very least, we would like information on your community. At best, we would like to interview one or several community members.
-
"If you are willing, please contact either Ewan or Beth as soon as possible to set up a brief interview.

Note:
When this directory is ready, this blog will carry links to it.
