Needed are stage managers for the 6 stages where presentations will be taking place. I am looking for 12-24 people willing to be stage managers. The main responsibility of these stage managers is to view the schedule we are currently working on and make sure both presenter and moderator are present at least 15 minutes prior to their presentation. The stage manager is mainly there in the event we lose voice and someone has to contact Phelan Corrimal for a sim restart. We are hoping our stage managers will be able to take on a 4 hour block of time during the conference.

We are also looking for 2 Estate Managers as well as about  50 more Moderators. Moderators should not be afraid of public speaking, the will introduce the presenter and also be the time keeper letting the presenter know via IM when they have 10 minutes left and at 5 minutes to wrap up the presentation.

We are also looking for people to photograph this event. The Machinima has already begun and we are open to more exposure if others care to capture other areas of the event. Currently Identity Euler is the official Machinimaphotographer for VWBPE.org.

Epic Volunteers are second-to-none. I want to make it very clear that people who volunteer for this event as far as I am concerned are the most important people to me. We are offering perks that can be used in Second Life and also Letters of recommendation to be used in physical life, “RL” for the hard work they are offering by helping with this conference.

Finally we are asking those who are more tenured or know the basics of Second Life to be present to assist New Residents / Students and other Educators who may be coming into Second Life on the basics of Camera Control and Appearance, there will be clothing and other gifts offered in the Social Area so that those who wish to change the basic new resident form to their own style.
