Quick tricks
Adjust your graphics: Me -- Preferences -- Graphics

Fairly quick tricks
Log out and then log back in again.
Reset your modem and router.
Use wired Ethernet connection, not wireless

Try raising your maximum badwidth
Try lowering your maximum bandwidth.
Yes. One and then, if necessary, the other.

Clear cache
Me- Preferences -  Setup - Cache Location - Reset 
Logoff - Login

Manually clear your cache
Copy the cache location from the page above.   Navigate to the folder and delete all the files in it..  Restart the viewer

 If you don't see this directory. you need to tell windows to show hidden files.  
Open any folder.
Organize (Top left) --Folder and search options -- view -- 
Folder views -- apply to folders (Click this button)

Show hidden files and folders. (Button should have a dot in it.  If not, click the button)

Inventory, items not loading

Manually clear your cache
Log in to a quiet sim -- Pooley or Thinkerer quests.
Search for anything and let your entire inventory load.

Open SL viewer, but don't login. Press Control+shift+G. 
In the new field that appears, click the down arrow and select Aditi
Then login. Once inworld, do nothing but open your inventory.  
In the Search bar, type something you wanted to find,
Search for several things you want.
Your entire inventory should load.  Give it time
Quit Sl.  Start your viewer again.  Don't Login. 
Change Aditi back to Agni. Login.
