You can win L$10,000 by meeting someone new in Second Life using the free Meet-up HUD and writing an account of it. The Meet-up HUD (Mu) is a tool you can use in Second Life to find people to do things with right away. Information about the Mu is available at

- Contest runs October 20th, 2010 to November 20th, 2010. Entries must be received by 11:59PM SLT on Saturday, November 20^th.   No cost to enter.

It's a free service, with no spam or ads. The Mu HUD doesn't cost anything and is easy to use.

To enter the Tales of Meeting Up Contest

1) Get a Mu HUD

2) Wear it

3) Connect with someone new by clicking the categories you're interested in and sending or responding to messages

4) Do something together

5) Write a short account of your experience and e-mail it to lucas@muhud.com, or drop it in a notecard to Lucas Gealach

The story the judges select as the best will win L$10,000.
