InWorldz -- Hobo Pioneers Outpost

InWorldz  -- Hobo Pioneers Outpost

UPDATE: This outpost has been closed.

The Hobos of Second Live are now exploring OpenSim.  We have established an outpost in InWorldz
-

-

The outpost is at: Upolo/103/146/27.  This location is not a Slurl.  I tried a slurl taken from the world map at the Hobo Outpost:
-
As you can seen the slurl leads to the Second Life site and so fails.  Since I am using Imprudence, this could be a flaw there, rather than with InWorldz.  I will explore further on this.
-
I also tried a slurl in InWorldz, using the usual Second Life method:  local chat - click on history entry.  It partly worked, so I will try again later.
-
Search for Upolo did not work.
-
The location method that does work from outside instructions is:
Search for Thinkerer Melville.  Then look in my profile, picks.
-
The right pick is: Upolo 3  Hobo Pioneers  -  Headquarters    That teleport will work.    Landmarks also work reliably, so collect them.
-
Feel free to friend me if you want (same goes for Second Life, where I am still Thinkerer Melville.)

Explorer’s report:  Frontier,  ready for explorers, not ready for settlers.
============================
I am currently using Imprudence for InWorldz, so my comments may not apply to other viewers.

The InWorldz version of the Hobo Junction Group is open enrollment (for the present).  The parcel is set to the Hobo Junction group.  Members of the group can rez there and leave objects.  Please clean up after yourself or we may have to return your things.

The Hobos have brought in a lot of freebies.  These are available at the Hobo Pioneer Outpost.

The Outpost now has neighbors:

  3. Don't expect a crowd unless you bring it yourself we are on the wild frontier. But-- Yes, the train made it and stands as evidence that transfer is possible.
